PRESIDENT / FOUNDER
Naj is involved in all aspects of the agency operations – including sales, marketing. He spends his time each day looking for ways to help his agents & staff feel empowered to help each and every customer they serve. NAJ focuses his sales efforts in the commercial side of NEC Insurance Brokerage and is always working to build genuine business relationships of trust with his clients
Naj a Bay Ridge Brooklyn, NY native, went to Xaverian High School, and graduated from St. John’s University in 2003 with a degree in Finance. Naj began his insurance career in the spring of 2004 as a commercial line agent at an Allstate Insurance Agency. He spent 2 years as top commercial sales specialist, until he realized that he wanted to own his own Independent Agency.
In January 2006 at the age of 26, he founded NEC Agency, Inc. DBA NEC Insurance Brokerage which specializes in insuring both residential and commercial property. Today NEC services excess of 3,000 clients. Naj credits his success and his company success to his team. Naj’s team members have worked together ten or more years. They are a happy, hardworking, experienced bunch. Naj uses his experience to lead, train and motivate his group to serve you as their valued client. When working with Naj you can count on kindness, fairness, integrity, and hard work with a smile.
Faith and love of family are at the core of his values. He has built a successful career in the insurance industry working with large multimillion-dollar companies and small Mom & Pop shops alike. His ability to work through tough problems has served his clients well and has resulted in a large network of top-rated insurance companies throughout the industry.
When I am not in the office, I enjoy meeting new people, going to the gym, and most importantly spending quality time with my family.
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Abraham Fallah, born in Tripoli, Lebanon, came to the United States at the age of 10 during the Lebanese Civil War. He settled in Brooklyn, New York, where he attended Fort Hamilton High School and received his Bachelor’s degree in International Marketing and Finance from Baruch College.
In 1993, Abe started his career on Wall Street and later earned his Series 7 license. His passion for finance and excitement in the market made him a successful investment advisor to accredited investors. In 2001, he joined CitiBank as a financial executive who increased individual branch assets and profitability via increased financial product sales. This led him to increase revenues within a chain of locations and leave a lasting impression in the company.
After having dealt with many clients throughout his career, Abe was keen to realize unmet needs in the insurance industry. In 2004, he opened his own Allstate Insurance Agency in Brooklyn as a Personal Financial Representative. He soon found his niche in Commercial Liability Insurance while working closely with general contractors, and trades such as plumbers, electricians, and HVAC contractors.
In Beginning of 2019, Abe sold his Allstate agency and joined NEC Agency, Inc. as Director of Operations. His goal is to lead the company into the future of insurance, with innovative ideas and the introduction of NEC Rewards to the community.
Abe has dedicated countless hours to understanding the needs of the communities he serves. His deep-rooted connection with the people of his community has allowed him to deliver an exceptional level of service.
